That was fun. It is great to see all of the plants thriving. The lemon cucumbers are producing like crazy and the crook necked squash are just beginning too.

The community garden is a great idea. WE dabble a little here in the garden with growing fruit and vegetables but this is amazing to think how productive the community garden is for you. It must feel amazing to see a big crop being produced after all the hard work.

There was a piece on our tv news this evening about the spread of community gardens in Dublin and elsewhere in the recent past. So the word is getting around.

What's new in the garden? We just built our own modest raised garden, all of 8x4 feet(!) for planting of vegetables. No crook necked squash or lemon cucumbers here, mainly stufqf suitable for our climate, though we may get more adventurous later on.
